Working in the Connected Car department on innovative, leading automotive technology. Highly agile and focused on delivering high-end native app experiences. At the time, I was mentoring and leading three designers, providing them with direction and support. I was responsible for problem-solving and applying user-centered design principles. I could rapidly prototype solutions, offering live previews of interactions and transitions, as well as conduct research and analyze current users to shape the new InControl into a much stronger, high-quality product.
The problem: The previous version of the app presented several challenges for customers, including limited accessibility to frequently used features, instability, and insufficient data on journeys and brand experience. These issues could lead to user frustration, drive customers to third-party apps, and ultimately result in lost users.
The solution: Collaborated closely with product owners and developers to validate ideas and ensure that solutions could be implemented effectively and functioned as intended.
