Discovery & Research
Conducted competitor benchmarking on 50+ automotive apps and gathered user insights through surveys, app store reviews, and stakeholder interviews.

Wireframing & Prototyping
Created low- to high-fidelity wireframes in Sketch and Figma; developed interactive prototypes to validate design decisions.

Lead and manage customise IBM Design System to be reusable UI components and style guides in Figma to ensure brand consistency and developer efficiency across web platform.

Challenge
The old ESO website suffered from an outdated look, poor information architecture, inconsistent layouts, and a cluttered user interface. Information was hard to find, and excessive content made navigation difficult.
Approach
Conducted complex industry research and analyzed current data to inform improvements in information architecture, data visualization, and layout structures.
Mapped and optimized user flows, including interactions with SaaS subsystems and potential user journeys.
Designed interactive prototypes using atoms, symbols, and auto-layout to streamline work and make prototypes more engaging.
Implemented DesignOps processes and a design system framework based on the IBM Carbon Design System, ensuring a consistent, holistic, and branded experience for all touchpoints.

Execution
Developed both a concise “pill” documentation in Figma for designers—covering core system usage and principles—and a detailed guide for managing branches, merges, and applying design changes. Created sharable, interactive Figma documents for collaboration and faster onboarding. Worked closely with developers to validate ideas and ensure smooth implementation.
